Anna Rabess-Richardson ,Founder ,
Ms. Mature Carnival Queen 2014/2015, Miss. Anguilla 1996/1997, St. Maarten Youth Carnival Queen 1988/1989
Anna holds pageantry dear to her heart. When she’s not busy developing a unique business idea or managing her existing businesses, Anna enjoys coaching and prepping young ladies for upcoming pageants.
During her most recent title of Ms. Mature 2014/2015, Anna dedicated her reign to giving back in the broadest sense. Anna stayed involved in much community activities such as reading for children at schools, the hospital and neighborhood community centers. She arranged an opportunity for her, the senior and teen queen to assist the AIDS Foundation with an awareness and test campaign, helping the public to “know their status.” Anna worked with hundreds of volunteers during the 2015 SXMDOET campaign. These efforts brought joy into the lives of many across St. Maarten.
Anna also launched a very successful summer work program dubbed the Youth Career Development Summer Job Program. Students of the program gained sound work experience and learned more about giving back to their communities through volunteering.
Anna’s vision for Posh Production ~Pageantry Professionals is to catapult pageantry in St. Maarten to a new level. Pageantry is a vehicle used by many countries for promotion and to boost tourism. St. Maarten alike, relies heavily on tourism and with renowned pageants such as Miss. World, Miss. Caribbean World and Miss. Universe, it is Anna’s aim to use pageantry to promote, unify, inspire, educate, entertain and celebrate the historical and cultural impact St. Maarten has within the world.
